The simple route to exam readiness
Good PPL preparation is more than repeating answers. Use a simple cycle: learn the idea, practise it, review the mistake and then test yourself under time.
Start where your instructor or recent results show the biggest gap.
Answer questions, then read the explanation behind the correct choice.
Save difficult questions and turn wrong answers into a focused revision list.
Use timed mixed practice when you are ready to rehearse exam pace.
Short practice sessions are useful when you are between lessons, while timed exams help you rehearse the pressure and pace of a real assessment. Explanations are there to help you learn the concept, not just memorise an answer.
Focus on the area you need most, then return to mixed questions as your knowledge grows.
Review the reasoning after each question so incorrect answers become useful study moments.
Use the Tailwind web app or installable PWA for revision at home, at the airfield or while travelling.
A full PPL plan includes all eight PPL subjects and Night Rating access for the same plan duration. You can also start with one PPL subject when you need a concentrated revision block; individual subjects do not include Night Rating.
